'we are proud of our women just the way they are!' I'm Ashleigh, 19 year old feminist and I've been a tomboy since forever - much to my mother's despair of course. Here's to women who defy gender stereotypes!
Dismantle the hype on how women should look. This is a our proud montage of women that have been ludicrously named as "tomboys".
Sift through your albums and join our campaign! We're making a picture of diversity that makes up Malaysian women. Send us a photograph of working women, in uniforms, in factory clothings, historical figures, sportswomen, our grandmothers, mothers, ourselves...as long as it is all from Malaysia (whatever you perceive as Malaysian).
We dedicate this campaign to the cool "tomboys" out there: 'We are proud of our women just the way they are!'
